Thumbprint is a purpose build set of technology-tools that glides along human behavior in aggregated settings such as policy-making, entertainment & virtual-education.
Our bylaws ensure we retain pristine content from the end-user and business-user, by not using popularity-based or disputed algorithms as the first feed we show users, or hide the feature away in our iOS app. In fact, we will not build on iOS because that barrier to entry into their market is just too much, but they cannot take our copyright. Your move, monopolists, prohibitionists & slave-owners. (we will get political about price-fixing)
We use discussion to guide our facts, and those facts to guide our cease & desist orders, which we will help adjudicate as much as we can to ensure libel is properly found and not punished until violation of court orders.
Like everything we do here at thumbprint, from the stale-first billfeed (still waiting on the api from thomas.gov & govinfo.gov) and government ID voter auth (still waiting on login.gov govID api) we remain unbiased by not tampering. We know others interpret laws differently or incorrectly, or we do as well. But we are in good standing on our mea culpas and usually preface things we are incorrect with ahead of time only to catch a few opinions as facts over the course of whole-time we’ve or our people’ve put content out.
There is more to do, more to wait for to do as well. During December 2020, I’m working on video. It was the calendar. It was the billfeed. It was the feeling of helplessness without representation required by the diverse-nature of a fact-finding operation in the midst of a snapping coalestation around spending for the doctors & spending for the military.
